First of all, let me take a moment tomsay thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. I’m not a professional cook, but I’m passionate about food; eating and cooking.
I have been inspired to make this blog due to reasons. Firstly, I spend all my free time looking at recipes, and cooking techniques. Looking around, I feel like I have some insight, and techniques which could really help people. Secondly, I live in Indonesia, a place which is just starting to have its cuisine recognised on a global scale.
It is mostly due to the second reason that I am writing this blog if I am honest. Indonesian food is delicious, and I really want to see it portrayed to the world accurately. This is something which I haven’t seen in the many food tutorial videos that I’ve seen uploaded to some very famous YouTube accounts of late – yes Jamie, I’m looking at you… Not that you’ll ever read this haha.
I have lived in Indonesia for three years, and recently married into the country, as it were, so I’m very excited about the future; trying, learning to make, and then sharing with you, the many amazing delicacies of Indonesia.
